The character system in the anime Lookism is also quite large, making it difficult for viewers to follow the movie. In the article below, Hobiverse will list the characters in Lookism that you may need to pay attention to for a better movie viewing experience.
Characters in Lookism
You don't need to memorize everyone who appears in the series, here is a list of the important characters.
Park Hyeong Suk/Daniel Park
The main character of the series is Park Hyeong Suk in the original Korean version. However, in the official WEBTOON translation, his name is changed to Daniel Park. He is originally an unattractive boy and a victim of school violence because of his appearance. When he transfers to a new school, he suddenly gains the ability to live in one of two different bodies at the same time. In the Japanese version of the series, the main character is called Keisuke Hasegawa.
Lee Tae Sung/Logan Lee
The bully Daniel introduced at the beginning of the series is called Lee Tae Sung in the original Korean version of LOOKISM; but his name is spelled "Logan Lee" in the official English translation.
Lee Eun Tae/Vasco
Lee Eun Tae is one of the strongest characters that Daniel befriends in the series and is also the leader of the Burn Knuckles, a gang with a penchant for justice and a penchant for protecting the weak. In both the English and Korean versions, the character is known simply as "Vasco".
Park Bum Jae/Jace Park
Burn Knuckles is the deputy of the state and Vasco's best friend since childhood. He is known for his large ears and incredible tactical abilities.
Hong Jae Yeol/Jay Hong
The quiet rich kid in Daniel's class at Jae Won High School. He is quite quiet but always protects Daniel. His fighting style is a combination of Systema and Kali Arnis, and he is a reliable support in any fight. His English name “Jay” is most likely an Anglicized version of the "Jae" in "Jae Yeol".
Lee Jin Sung/Zack Lee
A boxing prodigy with a bit of a criminal mind, Zack is Daniel's arch nemesis; however, this is only a result of his general meanness, brazenness, and lack of tact. Despite these negative traits, Zack is actually a very good guy and a trusted ally of Daniel in the later stages of the LOOKISM story.
Kim Mi Jin/Mira Kim
A peace-loving person who is good at fighting. Fans are impressed with Mira because she is Zack Lee's love interest in LOOKISM. Although she was a boxing prodigy when she was young, Mira has completely given up fighting.
Park Ha Neul/Zoë Park
Zoe Park is a girl who loves to “flirt”, especially with boys she finds attractive. Zoe Park is one of the kindest characters in the series and is always portrayed as helping others. Later, Daniel’s bully, Logan Lee, falls deeply in love with Zoe.
Some surprise characters
The Lookism anime adaptation of the manhwa has some pretty cool fight scenes. However, the series is not about fighting, and each character is built with a certain personality and story. Some of the most interesting characters in the series only appear once or twice in the beginning and you only get to see their role clearly later on. Characters like Jiho, Jang Hyun/Eli Jang fit this criteria, especially Jiho, who goes through one of the most dramatic personality changes in the series and is a very notable example of a breakdown and descent into madness.
