Fire Mountain, a land once considered a legend, has now appeared before gamers in part 5 of Black Myth: Wukong with the name "Nhat Lac Hong Tran". Behind that burning mountain is a story about Black Myth Wukong: The Daughter of the Bull Demon King with many intertwined details between love, betrayal and the consequences from the past that linger until the present. Pain from the past.
Start the journey between the coal fire
Tian Menh Nhan and Zhu Bajie set foot in the gloomy Ember Forest at the foot of the Fire Mountain, where they must face the fierce guardians. Bajie, with his adventurous nature, quickly rushed forward, leaving Tian Menh Nhan to face countless dangers. Things became more chaotic when the fierce battle between the demons under the Bull Demon King and the demons of hell raged.
Thien Menh Nhan then encountered Bach Phu Han, one of Nguu Ma Vuong's right-hand men. After the battle ended, Bach Phu Han was surprised to realize Thien Menh Nhan's identity and felt lucky that he hadn't gone too far.
Confrontation with Red Boy
On the journey, Thien Menh Nhan faces the fire chariots with the Five Elements power of Hong Hai Nhi, the rebellious son of Ngu Ma Vuong. According to Bach Phu Han, the urgent mission now is to destroy these chariots. At the same time, Thien Menh Nhan encounters Thach Phu, a stone monster with a tragic story of love and loss. Thach Phu once brought his wife's body to Hoa Diem Son to beg Princess Thiet Phien to revive him, but was refused. Now, he can only wait in vain.
Meeting Binh Binh and the first secrets revealed
Tian Menh Nhan later rescues a beautiful fox girl named Binh Binh from two demons, Cap Nhu Hoa and Khoai Nhu Phong. Binh Binh claims to be the daughter of the Bull Demon King and begs Tian Menh Nhan to help her parents, who are currently being held captive by Hong Hai Nhi. Bajie is suspicious of her identity because he and Tian Menh Nhan defeated the Bull Demon King and killed her mother, Princess Ngoc Dien. However, Binh Binh insists that Hong Hai Nhi is no longer the same and is now causing chaos everywhere. The Bull Demon King's roar is heard from the distant mountains, causing Bajie to decide to go find the Bull Demon King, while Tian Menh Nhan goes with Binh Binh to find reinforcements.
Fierce battles and meeting Princess Iron Fan
Along the way, they face numerous fire monsters, including the winged monkeys, which were once monkeys living in Flower Fruit Mountain but have now transformed. Tian Menh Nhan also faces two monsters, Vu Ly Van and Van Ly Vu, who have been subdued by Hong Hai Nhi. As they progress further, they encounter Princess Thiet Phien's subordinates.
At Tie Fan's palace, Tian Men Ren transforms into a cicada to eavesdrop on the conversation between Ping Ping and Tie Fan about borrowing the Ba Xiao fan to save the Bull Demon King. Tu Di - who has feelings for Tie Fan - also appears and begs her to escape with him. However, surprisingly, Princess Tie Fan is actually Zhu Bajie in disguise. Tu Di is enraged and creates an illusion to trap Tian Men Ren and Bajie, but is eventually defeated.
Revealing the truth about Red Baby
As he continues his journey, Tian Menh Nhan encounters Rusty-Gold Cart, one of Red Boy's chariots. Before dying, Bai Fu Han shows Tian Menh Nhan the secret path leading to the Bi Shui Cave, where the truth about Red Boy is hidden. Inside the cave, Tian Menh Nhan confronts two yakshas Shang Xia Tu and the Bi Shui Jin Yan Beast, who are guarding Red Boy.
After defeating them, Thien Menh Nhan witnessed the tragic past of Princess Thiet Phien: she was forced to drink the water of the Tu Mau River to conceive Hong Hai Nhi by order of Thai Thuong Lao Quan, while Nguu Ma Vuong ran away with his concubine. Tho Dia warned that Hong Hai Nhi would become evidence of the dark plot of the Heavenly Realm.
Tragic End at Mount Fire
Back in the present, Tianming Ren finds Pingping holding a Bajiao fan next to the dying Niu Demon King. Pingping uses the fan to put out the fire, while Bajie is thrown off a cliff while trying to protect her. Pingping repeatedly asks Niu Demon King to hand over the treasure, but he disdains her and reveals that Pingping is actually Hong Hai Er. Hong Hai Er then attacks Tianming Ren but fails. Niu Demon King gives the Great Sage's spiritual energy to Tianming Ren, saying that it will only bring disaster. Hong Hai Er steals the Root Energy and transforms into the Great Saint King.
After being defeated, Red Boy decided to commit suicide at the request of Princess Iron Fan. This event ended with the tragedy of Bull Demon King and Princess Iron Fan – the chess pieces who could never decide their own fate under the control of Heaven.
“Nhat Lac Hong Tran” brings a completely new perspective to the tragedy of the Bull Demon King’s family and the Heavenly Court’s plot to control it. Despite their strength, the monsters are ultimately just pawns in the Heavenly Realm. Their suffering and loss make players ponder about choice, freedom, and destiny. Furthermore, the “plot-twist” Black Myth Wukong: The Bull Demon King’s Daughter also makes players admire and appreciate this part of the story.
