End of Season 1
With careful investment from MAPPA, Season 1 of Chainsaw Man left a strong impression. In 12 episodes, viewers followed Denji's fierce journey, faithfully adapted from the first 38 chapters of the manga, although some details were omitted. Nevertheless, this was still considered a successful anime season in terms of both visuals and emotions.
The final episode concluded with Denji's victory over Katana Man, and Aki also fulfilled his promise to Himeno. But things didn't stop there. In a strange dream, Denji approached an old door and heard Pochita whisper:
"Denji, never open this door."
Immediately after, a mysterious girl appeared, none other than Reze, the character who will open a new chapter full of emotion and danger in the next part of Chainsaw Man.

What's in Season 2?
The upcoming content of Chainsaw Man is quite extensive, so it's very likely that MAPPA will divide it into Season 2 and Season 3. This means viewers will get to enjoy many more exciting plot points.
In the next season, viewers will witness the special relationship between Denji and Reze, the first girl Denji truly fell for. Ironically, Reze is a dangerous Bomb Devil, making this relationship always precarious between love and betrayal. Additionally, the charismatic character Typhoon Devil will appear, bringing intense and equally surprising action scenes. Besides Reze, Season 2 will also introduce many interesting new characters such as Typhoon Devil and new special agent teams from various countries. This expands the film's setting, and the confrontations become increasingly challenging and strategic than the previous season.
Notably, the battle with the Gun Devil is one of the most epic arcs in the entire series. It's not just pure action; it's a tragic story that paves the way for the relentless confrontation between Denji and Makima – the powerful, mysterious woman who is also the biggest haunting shadow in Denji's life.
Not merely bloody action sequences, Chainsaw Man Season 2 brings emotional depth and clear growth to the main character, Denji. Denji must choose between his desire for a normal life and his undeniable devil nature in a chaotic world.
The return of Chainsaw Man Season 2 has made the anime community in general and fans of this series in particular extremely excited. But can Season 2 surpass the success of the first season, or will it continue to create surprises for viewers?
Let's look forward to Chainsaw Man Season 2 with Hobiverse and discover many more surprises awaiting!
