The Volvo 140 Series is a range of mid-size cars produced by Volvo from 1966 to 1974, divided into the 142, 144 and 145 models, each differing in body style and number of doors (the 142 is a two-door coupe, the 144 is a four-door sedan and the 145 is a five-door wagon) and each available in different trim levels. Designed by Jan Wilsgaard, the 140 was the first Volvo to feature a boxier body style; compared to the Amazons it replaced, there were few changes to either the interior or exterior. Production ended in 1974 and the car was replaced by the 200 Series. 1,251,371 were produced, making it Volvo's first car to reach one million sales.
This casting replicates a lightly modified Volvo 142 GL with a lowered stance and racing-style interior among other modifications.
