Bulbasaur is a small, powerful Grass-type Pokémon. Bulbasaur is a small, quadrupedal Pokémon with green to bluish-green skin and darker green patches. It has red-white eyes and pointed, ear-like structures atop its head. Its snout is short and blunt, and it has a wide mouth. A pair of small, only visible teeth are on its upper jaw when its mouth is open. Each of its legs is thick with three sharp claws. On its back is a green bulb, grown from a seed planted at birth. The bulb provides it with energy through photosynthesis as well as from the nutrient-rich seed it contains.
