Black Clover: Sword of the Magic King is a movie shown on Netflix, considered to be the part that restored the reputation of the original anime after a period of serious flop. So is this movie worth watching? Let's find out with Hobiverse through the article below.
Black Clover Summary: Sword of the Magic King
In previous episodes of the Black Clover anime, viewers followed Asta on his journey to become the Wizard King, but this movie begins with a battle that is suddenly interrupted by an evil former Wizard King, Conrad Leto. Conrad uses the Imperial Sword, also known as Elsdocia, one of the most powerful weapons in the Clover Kingdom. He is also accompanied by three past Wizard Kings, Edward Avalaché, Princia Funnybunny, and Jester Garandaros, all of whom have the same goal of wiping out the Clover Kingdom.
Asta and the Magic Knights set out to fight, even if it meant sacrificing their lives, to protect the people of the Clover Kingdom. Asta's main mission was to use his unique Anti-Magic ability to fight Conrad and prevent him from taking over the Clover Kingdom. While the other Magic Knights strategized to separate the Sorcerer Kings and fight them in groups.
Despite being the Sorcerer King, Conrad shows no mercy to anyone in the Clover Kingdom. He is extremely cruel and will do anything to achieve his goals. Conrad tried to persuade Asta to join his side, but Asta was too stubborn because he believed that a true Sorcerer King should protect, not destroy, which made Conrad extremely angry and became more cruel.

Well-crafted characters and polished animation
The movie is loved not only for its story but also for its visuals. From the chess pieces created by Princia Funnybunny to the angel-like ice golems enchanted by Edward Avalaché, Studio Pierrot has done its best to ensure that viewers experience a truly magical world of Black Clover.
