Conan Movie 28 Plot Summary: The One-Eyed Afterimage
The film opens with a past incident in the Yatsugatake Mountains, when Inspector Yamato Kansuke chases a stranger in a snowstorm and is shot in the left eye before an avalanche engulfs them all. Surviving but losing the light in his left eye, Yamato carries with him vague memories of the killer.
Ten months later, an attack occurred at the Nobeyama Observatory, where Yamato and his teammate Uehara Yui quickly went to investigate. At that moment, Yamato's left eye, which he thought was "dead", suddenly started to ache - as if a sign of a buried memory awakening.
